MLB The Show 22 is back for another year and contains a variety of new features and upgrades, one of which is the largest the introduction of complete cross-play and cross-progression.
These two functions will help to maintain the game and player base alive, while the series expands beyond PlayStation, published for a second year on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S and the first time for Nintendo Switch appears. Cross-play and cross-progression have become standard today in games, and MLB the show seems to be the latest franchise that is obliged to add these functions to startup.

MLB The Show 22 CrossSplay
MLB The Show 22 will have a complete crosplay so everyone can play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch side by side.
We do not yet know if there will be an option to turn off the function in the game. Last year’s game there was no way to turn off CrossSplay, but they could handle this on the Xbox over the main settings of the Xbox. However, San Diego Studio did not say anything about this year’s entry.
MLB The Show 22 Cross Progression
MLB The Show 22 will also have a full cross-progression between PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
You can transfer your progress between all these platforms, with the exception of the exclusive modes of the current generation in which progress can only be transferred between Xbox Series X | S and PS5.
