This is a bitter pill for those who have expected the HBO series to the Last of Us again this year. Unfortunately, a clear cancellation was given a clear cancellation 2022 from the top. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Chief Content Officer Casey Bloy said about the plans with the TV adaptation:

They are currently turning in Canada. We have not yet mentioned a date for the broadcast. But it will not be 2022. They are still turning in Calgary.

The Last of Us stands for quality: You can keep what you want, but Naughty Dog delivered with both parts to perfection shared products that put new standards and where you are always in new details pushes. To achieve that in the series, it will need a lot of work. Especially since the uncharted movie last rather average criticism got.

Are we looking for 2022 content to the last of us?

The Last of US Part III is currently not an issue at Naughty Dog, but there are several other projects. On the one hand, a director’s cut to The Last of US 2 for the PS5 should probably come. The remake of the Last of Us, which will appear again this year, is also handled hot. And last but not least, there would be the multiplayer project that will become a separate successor of Faction mode from the first part.
